The truth is green tea can help you lose weight, but it’s not the magic weight-loss supplement everyone claims it to be. So how can it help with weight loss? Here’s the truth:

First, it can help fat loss by helping keep your blood sugars level throughout the day. The Catechins in green tea help with glucose regulation and slow down the movement of glucose into fat cells. This helps to prevent insulin spikes which are a leading cause of weight gain in our culture today.

This tea can also help suppress appetite. In a study done at the University of Chicago green tea tested on rats caused a reduction in food consumption throughout the day.

It also contains caffeine which can help speed up metabolism slightly as well as reduce appetite and cravings. Not only will caffeine inhibit your cravings, it will give you more energy throughout the day

Despite all of this evidence drinking this tea is not the end all be all of weight loss. However, it can help if consumed throughout the day.
